Who is Cody Staub? What’s this site all about? Well after completing my first year at college 10 hours away from my family and closest friends, I returned home with the intentions of taking a year off to make money and get my priorities figured out. What actually happened is I returned home with no money (poor college student ya know), no job, and a ‘home’ that was drastically different from what I had left. I eventually found a job and moved in with my buddy Jon Waraas. I started paying down the amounting bills from school and trying to figure my life out. For a while I thought I was going to try and get rich off of the internet before going back to school to pursue my goal of becoming a physician. I realized making a living online wasn’t something I was passionate about.I began to change my thinking. I started saving my money more and spending it on stupid things less (although I still do at times). I changed my mentality and started thinking more optimistically. I became happier.

Today I’m back in school pursuing my goal once again, although at a slower and less-stressful pace this time. I also work in the emergency department at the local regional hospital, which has only re-affirmed my passion for healthcare. I manage my time and my money better and am happy.

While this site is really, at the heart, all about me its also about being happy. It’s my travel notes on my journey to self-actualization and freedom. Hopefully it helps someone else in their journey as well.
