EverybodyGoTo is the blog of a web designer/internet entrepreneur by the name of Hyder (it’s the only name I’ve ever been able to find). Hyder has his start in the fashion industry, but is a self-taught web designer and graphic artist as well. His posts are generally about making money online, blogging, and web design. Hyder’s latest project is called Weborithm, the wordpress design company that brought you the re-design of JohnCow. This is a great blog with a lot of good tips in a wide range of categories.

Vanessa Fox. Nude. Relax! This isn’t a porn site! Actually, this is the personal blog of one of the great internet marketing females right now. Vanessa Fox is an expert in search engines and search engine marketing, and perhaps if you’ve been to any sort of internet conference lately you’ve heard her speak. She writes for several blogs and publications including the Official Google Webmaster Central Blog and Search Engine Land. To see her LONG list of credentials, check out her About Me page. Her posts on her personal blog, however, tend to be less professional and mostly entertaining, but every once in a while there is a gem of a post on how something works or how to get better rankings. Go check it out, her blog is definitely one to have in your reader.

Well it’s been a while since I’ve done this, but I’m here to get back into the swing of things. Let’s do this.

Stock Trading To Go -  This is a GREAT investing site run by Blain Reinkensmeyer. Blain started investing when he was 15 years old using the money from his lawn-care business. The site is well laid-out and written, very easy to understand for the beginning investor. As well as great articles written by Blain, there are several other writers that include:

  • Jack Haddad is an MD and has an MBA. Jack is a hedge fund manager and a very successful trader. His posts are usually live-action trade reports, where his trades usually make up thousands and tens of thousands of shares.
  • Sean Hannon is a CFA and CFP as well as the president of Covestor.com . He has been a financial planner and advisor for individuals for over 10 years with a solid record of out-performing the market.
  • Karl Wiebe doesn’t actually have any credentials listed on the site, but his articles are very informational. His articles give great tips and strategies for your everyday trading.

My other favorite site for today is Mike’s Money Making Mission. Mike is an early retired guy from the UK that got his start in money-making in 1985 with Herbalife and multi-level marketing. He eventually went on to start some kind of magazine business and, doing quite well, retired early. He now is dabbling with making a full-time income using only free blogs such as Blogger, and again he’s doing pretty well. This site is a great read if you’re looking to get started making money online with blogs or even affiliate marketing. You can read how he got started Here.

Check these sites out and start making a little money today!

Earner’s Blog

Earner’s Blog has only been around for about 6 months, but already it’s a site that is packed with some good quality content and useful tips and a reader base of over 800 RSS subscribers. While the title tacks it as an affiliate marketing blog, Earner’s Blog really encompasses the whole making money online experience, with subjects ranging from stealth link building (part 1 & part 2) to Adsense Arbitrage Made Simple back to Building a Successful Affiliate Network. And just because I’m a huge fan of online tools, he’s also created a list of 20 free SEO tools.

SuperAff

Terry over at SuperAff.com has a great blog going. If you want to learn a ton about marketing and making money online in one place, I would reccomend you check his site out. All the posts are quite lengthy and detailed, which is a very good thing if you’ve got the time to read. His latest article, Developing the Art of Detachment to Increase Results, is all about minimizing the time you spend online to increase your productivity overall. And because I’m all about the free online tools and such, Terry has put together some very useful lists: Web Tools, Affiliate Marketing Blogs, Webmaster Forums, and some other random things.

Digerati Marketing

This is a great SEO and marketing blog. Mark really knows what he’s talking about and all of his posts reflect that. He’s got so many good posts it’s hard to highlight them all. My favorite at the moment is the beginning to a series on affiliate marketing called Making Money with an Affiliate Networking Empire. He’s also delved into great subject on making money with no website, making money with a video blog, and his latest, seo tools.

Syndk8

Earl Grey’s Black Hat SEO and Black Hat SEM Community is a great site to check out, even if you don’t believe in black hat methods of promoting your sites. In today’s world of internet marketing, you can’t ignore black hat methods or you will be swallowed alive by your competition, and Earl here gives some very valuable insight into the world of black hat marketing. You can’t view any content without signing up for the forums, but I’ll tell you that if you’re into learning about promoting your sites (and you’re not a whiny baby), it’s a site worth checking out.

This week’s free link Friday feature will end the front page of my daily reads, but fear not, because I have literally hundreds of blogs and links that I read on a regular basis that I find to be useful in some way or another (so we shall continue). On to the link love!

eMonetized

This is a must read for all bloggers and online money-makers in my opinion. Tim Schroeder is a webmaster who operates sites across a broad spectrum and doesn’t hide much of anything when he shares his tips. While I’m sure Tim was not the first to use site-targeted Google ads, I believe he is the one that blew the potential wide open with his John Chow ads. His last two articles, in particular, have been a motivational kick in my pants as well. The most recent, How I Make Money Blogging, made me realize the potential outsourcing and stacking multiple sites for income has (although I already kinda knew that, but now I’m refreshed in the venture). After reading that, I glanced through 4 Free Tools for Finding Hot Affiliate Marketing Niches and Trends, which actually led me to purchase a number of domain names this morning with some hefty-ish plans. Perhaps with all his inspiration I’ll get into this whole making money online thing after all.

SEOBook

SEO Book is a site whose catchline is “A New Chapter Every Day”. While the site isn’t updated every single day, it’s updated more often than most, at least every other day, and provides useful content in each post. As you can guess from the title, it’s a site all about search engine optimization. The site contains a lot of great information if you can keep up with it all. I personally have a hard time keeping up because I’m no master of the SEO. Besides awesome new content nearly every day, the site has a few other nice touches. For example, the tools page has just about every SEO and marketing tool you can find on the web and even links to a few other sites’ tools pages. All of it is free, but if you prefer the hardcore condensed version, there is an actual SEO Book available (as an ebook of course!) for $79. Either way, visiting the site will be sure to render you some useful info.

CPA Share

This is a blog written by a kid named Harrison Gevitz (hope I didn’t slaughter his name, sorry if I did!). Although he’s only 15 years old, I have a ton of respect for this little dude. He’s already making money on par with adults before most teens even get a job. I honestly find his blog to have little knowledgeable usefulness, but a ton of motivation factor. Most of his posts are generalized updates of his projects, about his personal life , or about school. However, I still find a lot of personal gain from his site and it has a fixed spot on my front reader page. Definitely give his page a check and decide for yourself. PS: Harrison if you’re reading this…a) I really do love reading the stuff you post, keep it up and b) I always enjoy a little link love myself ;) .

It’s that time again. Another peek into the list of my favorite reads on making money online and website marketing. Here we go:

Jim Boykin

This guy seems like one smart cookie when it comes to search engine optimization (SEO) the “whitehat” way. He obviously believes in building honest, long-lasting rankings in search engines…and after all, isn’t that what you want? As full of info and entertaining as his posts are, I really have it bookmarked for his “SEO Tools by webuildpages” at the near-bottom of the sidebar. They are pretty useful and not generics I’ve seen other places.

Net Business Blog

Net Business Blog is a blog about making money online (wow…not many of those. that was sarcasm.) that was started about six months ago by Matt Coddington and is probably the fastest growing blog I’ve seen. In those six months he took a blog from zero to making a decent living and then selling the site for $50,000 $13,000. Not bad for six months of work (give or take). The new owner, [New owner has asked that his name be removed from this post], seems fairly knowledgeable on the whole making money online thing as well and I haven’t seen a decline in the quality of posts since takeover. Matt still guest writes (if you can call it “guest” writing when you started the site…) every now and then. It’s definitely worth reading.

Half’s SEO Notebook

Everything SEO and internet marketing related is found here. When I’m reading this blog I almost feel like I’m listening to a professor at school, not because it’s boring at all, but because he has so much knowledge. I don’t think I even know where to start pointing you, but his latest article is VERY informational article on understanding PageRank distribution . Another post of his that I actually read often is “If You Lack Motivation, Read This“. It’s an awesome collection of motivational quotes that keeps me on track from time to time.

One of the hardest things to do in blogging is to stay motivated and add new content regularly. That’s the reason for my “Cool Music Tuesday” feature, as well as this next one starting today: “Free Link Friday”. Almost every blog has their form of linkbait going on. Free Link Friday is mine. For now I will simply be giving you readers a glimpse of my personal bookmarks, my favorite sites. You may not see how it is linkbait yet, but in time you will. So let’s get on with it.

 Blue Hat SEO

One of my all-time favorite reads. He doesn’t update a LOT, but enough to keep me interested. And his tips/techniques are pure gold. He also has a nice little indexing tool for webmasters called QUIT. Sometime next week he’ll be releasing his private webmaster tools for a $100/month subscription price. Both are worth taking a look at.

 Jon Waraas

I guess I’m kind of obligated to this one because Jon is a good friend of mine for something like 6 or 7 years. He’s also my room mate and pretty good at making money here at home. It’s actually him that’s given me any motivation at all to try the whole make money online thing. His blog is mostly about his personal experiences and just random stuff, which I think is what a blog is really supposed to be: just about the author. I used to know how much he made online, but I don’t think I could even fathom it now because he’s come a long ways lately. He recently entered an SEO contest and, working with Eli from the above Blue Hat SEO, has pulled into first place in a contest with a winnings pot of $9000. Not too shabby.

 Dot Com Will

The third link for today is maybe a little less known, but a very good read. Will has had a lack of updates recently (come on Will, we want more content!), but if you check out his archives he has some amazing articles. The one that got me hooked was his post on Adsense Arbitrage. It details fairly well how to set up an arbi site. He also has a bunch more that, like I said, are definitely worth a read.

I use Xerpi to bookmark all my favorites. I wrote a post on the site a little bit back and fell in love with it. If anyone signs up and uses the site, feel free to add me. My username is cody.
